Lana Del Rey has the lips of Angelina Jolie and the voice of Nancy Sinatra the style of vintage Hollywood. See for yourself. Video is a collage featuring Lana singing to the camera among random clips from day time TV and footage from another time. It seems she used this idea for some of her other songs videos. A good idea to promote her debut album droppin' in October.

Polk Goes Out: Cool Ranch

Went out to the Middlesex to catch You Can Be a Wesley and the Bodega Sluts (Bodega Girls/Viva Viva).

Partying ensued.

It was everything one would hope for from a dance party called Cool Ranch. Throw back rock n roll anthems and sing alongs. There was even a kissing booth for those who were feeling frisky.
