New England Winter - Polk Records Winter Ball -Local Christmas Compilation

What do we love about winter in New England?  We love the smell of a distant fire place on a cold dark night in the middle of the country under a clear bright sky, where the stars seem to go on forever shining in a dark blue sheet of space.  We love the smell of pine and the feel of a wool sweater while going to a house show where they will have warm hot apple cider and chamomile tea.  Huddling around a bond fire.  Being with friends.  Wearing hoodies and mittens.  

Well, Polk Records loves winter so much it has decided to put on a Winter Ball.  This is going to be an event to remember!  The Polk Records Winter Ball will be a black-tie and gown event with entertainment by some of Boston's best Bands.  The bands playing are StreightAngular, Math the Band, Left Hand Does, Ladderlegs, Bacchus King, The Woodrow Wilsons, Radio Control, Trusty Sidekick, The Mirror Neurons, This Building's On Fire.  There will be all kinds of food as well as special vegan and veggie platters.  It is an All-Ages show and tickets are $10.
